About Me
So, here’s the thing—most “About Me” sections are all about business wins and shiny accomplishments. And hey, that stuff does matter (you can totally check it out on my homepage!). But let’s be real: there’s more to me than just a list of achievements.
Sure, I could play by the rules, but that’s just not how I roll. I’m all about what works for me. Why follow the crowd when blazing your own trail is so much more fun?
I’ve found that trusting my instincts and choosing what feels right always leads to better results—and let’s be honest, a way more exciting story. Who wants "normal" when you can have extraordinary?
While I am absolutely passionate about being creative in Photoshop, and pushing the limits on what I can make look "real" in Photoshop. I am passionate about pictures and making them as awe inspiring as the moment in time that inspired the picture to be taken in the first place. I want you to get to know me as a person. So let's have some fun with this...
I love a good dad joke, the worse they are the funnier I think they are. I love to tell them and make people smile or laugh, even if it's just a chuckle. I love hearing people's laughter...
I love being goofy, and having fun. As you can see from my 2022 Christmas card above, I wear funny outfits, and like to go the extra mile to make something that will hopefully will make others smile. I don't do enough of this in my life and my goal is to always have more fun.
I love the old 80's action movies, and I will die on the hill that Die Hard is a Christmas movie.
Any chance I get I love to play cards, a couple of my favorite games are Wizard, Canasta, and 5 Crowns. I play with my Aunt and Uncle as much as I can. Many an evening have gone by playing cards, drinking whiskey, and laughing at dumb jokes.
I have done a lot of travel, I sold all my possessions, or most anyways, and packed up to travel the world for 2 years. Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Galveston, just to name a few of my favourites. I have much more to see and explore!
I am Canadian, born and raised. I travelled every single province in my own country too! It's a beautiful country, but being born in Saskatchewan, Canada It's always cold for most of the year. I am more of a hot weather kind of girl. So I set out to move somewhere warm. The place I landed on was Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. I ended up absolutely loving it!
To my surprise my two tuxedo cats, Charlie and Bean, whom travelled with me to Mexico from Canada; Absolutely LOVE living in the heat and humidity!! Who knew two mostly black cats would love the sunshine as much as i do!
I am incapable of doing anything with half my heart. I go all in all the time. Sometimes that causes me hurt, but in life we can avoid pain but we would also avoid the love and good things too. So I work every day to be wholehearted in everything I do.
